From the hydro store, we saw the need for better nutrients and it was from these humble beginnings that we evolved into manufacturing of our own nutrients.
We’re passionate about sourcing the purest, cleanest water, using the highest quality materials, ensuring that the environment is protected and improving the lives of the people who grow with them
Pacific Northwest Garden Supply Ltd was started by Steven Betts in 1993 with one store in British Columbia, Canada. Having previously worked in the hydroponics industry, Steven had a strong desire to learn and to get involved in the industry by supporting urban agriculture. Shortly after launching the first location, Steven brought on his first partner Justin Cooper to help him with the original PNW location.
For decades, the Pacific Northwest has been home to some of the world’s highest quality craft growers. A like-minded community of individuals, historically thriving in the shadows, all the while sharing knowledge and experiences with each other.
It was here that Steven and Justin recognized the need for higher quality, more competitively priced plant nutrients. With this in mind, they began to formulate and then develop what has now become an iconic brand in the industry, GreenPlanet Nutrients.
From our humble beginnings to where we are today and all in-between. It takes more than a dream to fulfill one’s desires but a team, a team of dedicated individuals who share the same passion and goals.
